 Arthritis

Arthritis affects millions of people all over the world every day.

We generally presume that it only affects older people. However it can affect everyone from little babies to the older adult and everyone in between.

The two most commonly referred to are Rheumatoid Arthritis and Osteoarthritis.

I recall when re-entering the nursing profession one of my first classes was on this topic. I thought that would be easy, as there are only a couple of types that I knew. I could not have been more wrong. There are over 150 different types. That's right!

Here they are listed in alphabetical order, so that if you ever hear of one of the names, you'll know it's a form of Arthritis.
